Edge deletion and surface decoating
Remove coating before applying glue
Thermal control coatings, also known as low-E (low emissivity) coatings, are commonly applied to glass surfaces to enhance energy efficiency. These single, double, or triple silver coatings reflect solar heat, helping to reduce cooling energy consumption in homes and vehicles. Typically, these coatings are applied across the entire glass surface through large-scale, efficient production processes.
However, the glue is preferrably applied on glass rather than on coating. Also, coatings shoud not be in direct contact with oxygen. Our technology removes coating edges on architectural and automotive glass.
